PAVEFORM gratings are laid on a stabilized surface.
From 15 to 60 cm of compacted gravel. Type 20/40 ,30/60 depending on quarry. Thickness depends on the nature of the soil and the purpose of your project. See data sheet.
Cover the surface with 1 or 2 cm of 0/6 sand.
Plan your slopes at 1.5 cm/m for rainwater run-off.
Use concrete kerbstones or BORD’EASY finishing strips.
Simply snap the grids into place. Pay close attention to the direction of the paving for a beautiful final aesthetic effect.
The grids must be staggered. See drawing.
Use an angle grinder to make peripheral cuts. Don’t forget your gloves and goggles.
Fill with fluid mortar or concrete (coloured according to your aesthetic choice). Dosage 300Kg/M3. Grain size 0.2/0.4.
Use a mass water-repellent in your mortar. Just 1M3 of concrete or mortar for 25 M2!
An 8 M3 router can produce up to 200M2 of surface in a single operation.
Trowel the surface with a stiff squeegee. The surface of the grids easily serves as a guide.
As soon as the concrete or mortar has set, run the metal scraper over the surface of the grids.
Clean the surface with a hose.
Apply a hydro-oil repellent (stain and moss repellent).
Circulating after 96 hours.
